We are delighted to offer all Foundation Stage to Year 6 students the opportunity to watch S4K perform The Jungle Book on Wednesday 25^th September. As part of the English National Curriculum, speaking and listening is a key area which can be taught and observed through drama performances.

S4K Theatre Company strives to enrich learning the Arts through the medium of Drama. Their high-quality productions and engaging storytelling style also support links to the areas of learning in the Arts curriculum (English, Drama, Music, Art & Design), where the importance of exposure to the Arts develops children’s creativity and encourages them to express their ideas, feelings, and interpretations of the world through pictures, sound & music, drama, and dance.

The Jungle Book is about Mowgli the Man Cub who is brought up in the Indian jungle by his friends Baloo the Bear and Bagheera the Panther. When the time comes for Mowgli to leave the jungle and return to the Man Village, the lessons he has learned prove invaluable.
