Ms. Natalie Waterman
Deputy Head of Primary
Ms. Natalie is currently in her 12th year at Regent International School and has been privileged to experience many aspects of school life during her time here. Throughout her journey at Regent, she has taken on a range of leadership roles, beginning in EYFS and continuing through to Year 9, gaining a deep understanding of the school community and the learning journey of its pupils.
With almost 20 years of teaching experience across England and Dubai, Ms. Natalie is deeply passionate about education and the impact it has on young learners. She strongly believes that lessons should always be taught in context with meaningful, real-life outcomes and should be shaped around children’s passions and interests to make learning truly engaging and relevant.
A key focus of Ms. Natalie’s work is supporting teachers to ensure that every child is given the opportunity to master each subject at their own level through a personalised approach to learning. She believes that when teaching is tailored to the individual needs and interests of pupils, children are empowered to reach their full potential.
Ms. Natalie is a firm believer that a lifelong love of learning begins in the primary years. She is committed to ensuring that every child who joins Regent receives the best possible experience across all aspects of school life. Her philosophy centres on supporting the whole child — nurturing their interests and passions while encouraging them to take risks, explore new ideas, and step beyond their comfort zones.
Working alongside the dedicated teachers at Regent, Ms. Natalie helps foster an environment that inspires curiosity and motivates children to become confident, independent thinkers. She looks forward to continuing to work closely with both pupils and staff, focusing on raising standards and enriching the learning experiences of every child at Regent.
