Personalised education for each child
In the Foundation Stage at Regent International School we offer a personalised education for each child. We achieve this through delivering and Outstanding curriculum which centers around each child’s passions, interests and needs. We believe that children need a reason and a purpose to learn and therefore lessons are based around real life outcomes and achievements. For example, when teaching children to write we do not just practice to write letters, instead, children write letters asking to go on trips, they write advertisements for shows they have created and ‘wanted posters’ for lost toys. This approach means that children are engaged and fully invested in their learning and it also ensures that they are applying skills that they have been taught in lessons.
At Regent International School we believe that children should not be judged on academics but how they progress holistically. Each child has an individual target based on something that they want to achieve whether that be performing a dance in front of the class, learning to paint or throwing a basketball into a hoop. This empowers children at a young age to see that they can achieve goals that they set themselves which is a powerful message to send to our youngest learners. This approach combined with our Positive Education philosophy ensures that children learn how to progress and assess their individual character strengths in order to face everyday challenges both inside and out of the classroom.
Regent is an outstanding school
and provides an outstanding quality of education for pupils from three to 11 years
Very strong Curriculum with rich learning opportunities
that has an impact on the child's progress.
We learn to sing and to use our voices, to create and compose music.
We even have the opportunity to learn how to play different musical instruments. Our music teachers are very talented. They even taught some of us how to floss.
With an amazing senior leadership team and experienced educators,
a Regent education is interactive and collaborative – they truly make primary school a memorable experience.
My school feels like home.
I love coming to school every day.
Possibilities seem infinite at Regent.
There are no limits in my child’s imagination about what he can do. Children are encouraged to take chances, try anything and not be afraid.
The strong sense of community makes Regent more than just a great place for study,
it’s a great place to socialise and make new friends.
Regent has given my daughter a new start.
This school has encouraged her to gain confidence and to express herself despite mistakes. The teachers are always available to help and laugh with her.
