High-quality Education and Resources Every Day
A typical day in KS2 will begin at 7:15am, when the school gates open and children begin to arrive. Early morning activities set by the teacher will revise key skills as well as give children time to act on feedback previously given by the teacher. Registration takes place at 7:45am, immediately after the national anthem. The children are taught English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Topic and Values In Action by their class teacher. PE, Music, Computing, French, Arabic and Islamic for Muslim children, are all taught by specialists. During the day, children have a break of 20 minutes, and a lunchtime of 1 hour. The school day ends at 2:40pm, when children are collected from the pitch.
Classrooms in KS2 are very unique. The school adopts a flexible seating approach which allows children to choose a work space where they feel most comfortable to work. This may be the sofa with laptop tables, the coffee table with cushions (a crowd favourite), the side bench with high chairs or the more traditional table and chairs. Children in KS2 have reported that they find this approach very successful, and they appreciate the freedom, and responsibility that comes with it.
Regent is an outstanding school
and provides an outstanding quality of education for pupils from three to 11 years
Very strong Curriculum with rich learning opportunities
that has an impact on the child's progress.
We learn to sing and to use our voices, to create and compose music.
We even have the opportunity to learn how to play different musical instruments. Our music teachers are very talented. They even taught some of us how to floss.
With an amazing senior leadership team and experienced educators,
a Regent education is interactive and collaborative – they truly make primary school a memorable experience.
My school feels like home.
I love coming to school every day.
Possibilities seem infinite at Regent.
There are no limits in my child’s imagination about what he can do. Children are encouraged to take chances, try anything and not be afraid.
The strong sense of community makes Regent more than just a great place for study,
it’s a great place to socialise and make new friends.
Regent has given my daughter a new start.
This school has encouraged her to gain confidence and to express herself despite mistakes. The teachers are always available to help and laugh with her.
