Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all
Our aim at Regent is to provide a safe and healthy working and learning environment for staff, pupils and visitors. All health and safety objectives are met and carried out diligently as detailed in our school policy.
Regent is an outstanding school
and provides an outstanding quality of education for pupils from three to 11 years
Very strong Curriculum with rich learning opportunities
that has an impact on the child's progress.
We learn to sing and to use our voices, to create and compose music.
We even have the opportunity to learn how to play different musical instruments. Our music teachers are very talented. They even taught some of us how to floss.
With an amazing senior leadership team and experienced educators,
a Regent education is interactive and collaborative – they truly make primary school a memorable experience.
My school feels like home.
I love coming to school every day.
Possibilities seem infinite at Regent.
There are no limits in my child’s imagination about what he can do. Children are encouraged to take chances, try anything and not be afraid.
The strong sense of community makes Regent more than just a great place for study,
it’s a great place to socialise and make new friends.
Regent has given my daughter a new start.
This school has encouraged her to gain confidence and to express herself despite mistakes. The teachers are always available to help and laugh with her.
Safety, at all times, is our first priority
On a daily basis, Regent provides a working environment for many groups of individuals, pupils and plays host to many other third-party after school activities. It is important, therefore, that a safe environment is established in which children and adults can work together with confidence. It is the responsibility of the senior management team and governing body to ensure this is the case.
In order to promote this we must all take responsibility for being vigilant and be aware of possible risks. Children and adults should be encouraged to keep themselves and one another safe and share any concerns they may have swiftly and appropriately.
We must also, however, be aware of the need to keep a balance between security and safety and the maintenance of a comfortable, welcoming learning environment. Our Health and Safety policy aims to address and provide guidance on this balance, identifying individual and group responsibilities.
Ensure there is sufficient information, instruction and supervision to enable all people and pupils to avoid hazards and to contribute to their own safety and health at work
Maintain electrical equipment to an appropriate standard and ensure a safe environment for handling, storing and transporting items
Administer appropriate procedures according to fire regulations and
have procedures in place for the safe administration of medicines and for dealing with accidents and illness
